  • In the time-honored tradition of the Urasenke Tea Ceremony, learners embark on a meticulous journey of refinement and mindfulness. Beginning with the precise arrangement of the tea room, participants carefully cleanse and purify the space, symbolizing the importance of harmony and respect.  Learners begin with folding the silk napkin (fukusa) for purification and then get to partake in homemade Japanese sweets and matcha, devoted to each season.  Through dedicated practice of the Urasenke Tea Ceremony, learners cultivate not only a mastery of technique but also a profound appreciation for the beauty and harmony of Japanese culture.
