Unleash Your Inner Artist – Intro to Wet-on-Wet Oil Painting
Everyone can paint these mountains using the wet-on-wet, alla prima, technique, made famous by artists such as Van Gogh, Monet and Bob Ross, using just three colors, three brushes, and a palette knife. Join Collective Arts Gallery artist John Chiego for this fun, three-hour, class introducing the oil painting technique that will allow you to unleash your “Inner Artist."
All materials will be provided and no painting experience is necessary. However, if you are a painter and have natural bristle brushes that you would like to use you are more than welcome to use your own brushes. The brushes you will need for the class are a 1 inch brush, a #3 fan blender brush, a #5 straight-edge palette knife, and a 1 inch foam brush. Come and unleash YOUR “Inner Artist!"
